Thats me in the title :hand:

I love the 981. I think it can probably out handle the 997. The interior is great. It has a sat nav that doesn't work in Latin
The pdk works a dream
BUT
I miss the grunt of the 997
I miss the sound of a PSE
I'm going to have to swallow a load of dignity and some healthy £ and come back.
Anyone looking for a nice 981 :floor:
Oh and I may need a tent as we don't have a shed for me to sleep in

Just get a BGTS and tick all the boxes :floor:

Ps don't be fooled by the stance its just a 'S", Porsche definately tweaked the exhaust note to perrrrrrrrrrfection :thumb:

Well, welcome back Ben.
That was pretty quick 🤣

Blimey Ben, That didn't take long mate. So what you after this time and does the other half know
are you going to add things as you added lots of bits to the old one or keep it stock.

Welcome back :thumb: :thumb:

Umm this is only just being 'discussed atm (read I've already decided in my head)
Just can't shake the 997 feel though. Daft as for hooning down a country lane the 981 is amazing. But just not the same. Maybe if I could have stretched to a 3.4 S with PRE but the the 997 would cost me less.
This one I'm going in eyes open.
I did try a 4s cabrio the other day and it's not for me
I want PSE and Bose (I don't want to have to faff with amps this time)
I'd love memory seats (hens teeth etc)
Sports chrono would be nice
And it has to be a bright colour (or an interesting one) that said if I could pimp up a black I might think about it
If anyone knows of someone after a mint 981 for about £33k (2014 car on 23k miles)
That would be a start to my next adventure

Good luck with the search :superstition: and welcome back. Hope you don't mind if I don't offer to sell you back your old Alpine as I love it too much :D

That did come up the other day :hand:

:floor: :floor: and I loved the rainbow beats amp THANKS MATE until I sold the car and got a gen2 with bose, not convinced the bose is better than the alpine with the rainbow beats amp. There are more speakers and a sub with the bose so I guess that could all be improved with a nice amp :thumb:

So are you looking gen1 or gen2 for the new one :thumb:

Get a turbo mate

I'm sure you could convince the wife it's just a C2S with a body kit on.

I know I did 8)

And me :D

She still doesn`t know how fast it really goes :hand: :floor:

I'd love a Turbo, but the big give away will be it's a 996 on my budget & (i Quote from Mrs S) 'the interior is a bit to 80's porn star and the sat nav would have been out of date for Fred Flintstone' :floor: In actual fact she did look at one @ PCT the other day and say it was okay, but that was compared to the Targa I wen't to look at which had a sand interior that even I couldn't get to love.

So i'd like a 997.2 but it could be a 3.6 so i'd also look at 997.1 BUT i'd want a 111 point check on that. Depending on what I get for the Cayman i could look up to low 40's
