Hi all, I know this has probably been done to death and back again!! but this Saturday am looking to tackle the belts out of my car and send off to get them done in Chicken blood red :D

So, my question is where would be the best place to send them and have them Webbed in said colour, anyone knows of any places I can send?

maybe a few companies I could enquire etc...

Cheers :thumb:

Getting mine done in the next week or so , but not sure of the name of the company doing it but £35 to £40 per belt is the sort of money you should be expecting to pay mate.I am using this place as they do a same day service but the place I was going to use and the webbing quality was as good as OE was
these guys they were at Simply Porsche and specialise in Porsche grade webbing

I've used Quickfit SBS in Stanmore. Service and quality were spot on and an exact match to OE. Bargain as well given the materials/effort involved.

Its £32 plus vat per belt Mark , I am just trying to find the name of the company as my local porsche mobile tech is taking mine and another local guys to be done at the same time and refitting them the next day.
but I cant remember what he said they were called, their in Surrey :thumb:

I phoned Quick fit Seatbelts and the quoted £30 + Vat per belt and as a result it's only approx half hour drive from me... gotta say it's a cheap mod to transform the inside of the car, worthwhile mod.... :D

Acid green?!

Got me thinking now... silver might be nice in my car! :?:

:floor: :floor: Tony that would have been the case in my gen1, but I am going for a sort of royal blue ,very close colour to my gen2 aqua bodycolour :thumb:

Cheers for your replies guys and links to companies that does the seat belt webbing etc....Ok, so I've finally got around to taking all four of the seat belts out of my car for the first tiime, it took me approx 40 mins, start to finish and stopped a few mins to have a drink, I can say it's very very easy, not like what I've read from sources saying it takes 2.5 hours etc.. no way !!!

Tools needed..... (none special required)

1. 17mm spanner
2. 17mm socket
3. 10mm socket
4. Ratchet (for sockets)
5. T-20 Allen key or socket
6. Phillips screwdriver
7. Confidence

People say you need an interior tool remover (pry tool) which I have but didn't use, to be honest you don't need, just pull panels out with hands and you will hear click noises as they are released..

Few pix below of what I did, will post back once belts have been done :D

Cheers

J

I would be interested in what colours people have gone for. I'm torn between going for yellow or red; bassalt black car with full black interior.
I was thinking of yellow as at some point I think I'll add some yellow to the steering wheel, but do love the red :frustrated:
Does anyone have an idea of the turn around times on getting all four belts done?
Thanks.

Just dropped of my belts at Quick Fit and they are busy so the turn around is 5 days but they said maybe earlier Which is good. I hope I get back before weekend so I can put them back in the car wether permitting of course..

I've gone for Chicken Blood Red as they say!! Which goes good in black interior..

Thanks J,
I'm leaning more towards the red ones. Was reading that the yellow belts are a pain to keep clean and after seeing a few pics I can see how dirty they look compared to red ones.
