If you want to test the water do a taster for how good Southern France is, I can suggest any of the national parks that litter the whole region. There are some amazing roads and the weather is just brilliant at that time of year.
My particular favorite is Gorge du Tarn.

Have a look at Jackals web site and this will give you some good ideas along with decent hotels and routes.
Just scroll through to some of the road trips http://www.jackals-forge.com/lotus/

I love that video Alex, especially the bit where Infrasilver pulls up wearing his legendary 400 year old red Porsche baseball cap, held together with hope and fairy dust Grin

If you've never done it before you might prefer to hook up with a group that have.

In May next year there's several things going on. Scroll down this sub-forum and look for Dinslaken, Monaco Classic and Spa Classic.

For other ideas have a scroll down and see what's been reported on before.

From your previous posts it looks like you've done a few 'channel hop-overs'. Take it from me these will have been nothing compared to what you can expect when you venture further afield ......... most noticeably to 'The Fatherland'. thumbsup

Thanks Terry

There are not many rooms left on the 7 night tour to the Historic Monaco GP. A good number of 911uk members have already signed up for this and the 12 night trip. The latter includes an extension to the Spa Classic the following weekend getting there via Alps, Vosges, Black Forest and Luxembourg.

These tours are escorted so will be good for someone new to Euro touring. However things are very relaxed so there's plenty of opportunity to do your own thing if you'd prefer to travel more independently.

L'rs
