996 Parking sensor problem

Hi, My 996 Carrera 4 tip 2004 parking sensors and reverse gear selection sounder have stopped working. Reversing lights work ok as does gear selection indicator on dials. Have removed and cleaned out switch under tip lever but still not working. Anybody got any advise what to do next. :?:
