After only 16 months of ownership I sold my gorgeous 2006 C4S. Gone to a good owner who seems pretty passionate about Porsche.

I simply wasn't getting the use so decided I'd free up the capital. Didn't really plan on getting a replacement but have already bought a low mileage 2010 135i cabrio. More for my wife really, she didn't drive the Porsche, but with 300bhp and only £400 to make it 360bhp it should be able to amuse when I use her. Collect her on Sunday....will need to get the hairdressers kit.

I do have some barely used Michelin tires so will post on the for sale section.

When I get a job that requires me to drive I will definitely be looking at Porsche again, although I must confess I do have a pen chance for the roundel brand, having had 5 before.

Sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you and your wife :-|

Good luck for the future.

As for Andrea Bocelli - when driving through the Perugia countryside, there are worse things to listen to. :thumb:

Nice link to subject......Time to say goodbye! Sous le fenestre...... You'll now see a BMW! Sad moment but the 135i should compensate in other ways. Glad your P car went to a good home. :thumb:

Look at you guys getting the reference, nice. 👍

Shame I went and changed the subject line before seeing if anyone had even read my post, now others won't have a clue and I feel a right twat. Might feel that again when I get in the Beemer and long for my 911. Was a lovely car and seeing the new owner drive away reminded me just how good the C4S looks from the back with those massive 305's and the sports exhaust raising the decibels. :?

Right call for me though, hopefully get to step into a newer 911 somewhere down the line...the older classics just seem to be headed one way and are becoming unobtainable.

Will continue to peruse the forum and see how everyone is is doing and see what the heck Phil's going to do next. :bye:

Couldn't have said it better myself.

In my life there has been dark periods of time when I didn't have a 911.
Luckily for me they were few are far between. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
