hi all
I have a failed strut which I need to replace on the frunk. Should I just go to Porsche or is there an alternative supplier? Any recommendations?

thanks

Graham

I bought one for the engine lid from eBay, approx £10.
Works fine, can't see any reason to go to OPC unless it's the same price.

Likewise front and rear (for my 993) from eBay at a reasonable price.

Guaranteed for a number of years too (I'd need to look at the paperwork).

Biggest job was the fitting but I'm sure Porsche would have improved that by the time of the 996...
