Hi all

Well a lovely hand car wash have managed to snap the C of Carrera on the badge on the back. Does anyone have a spare they are willing to sell me a decent price? Don't really want to pay the £42 best price on ebay!!!!!

£42 for a Fleabay copy. Imagine how much an OPC will charge, including Porsche tax?

I paid £105 for turbo and that only 5 letters😂

Best not to use mechanical car washes! But I'm sure you know that now.

It was a hand car wash, you know, where some guys clean your car with sponges, jet washes, etc. Used them loads of times, do a very good job. However this time we went out after having it cleaned, I got out to get a paper, saw that one of the cleaning rags had been dirty, was literally 100 yards from the car wash, so went back, got them to sort it out. Guy takes quite a while on the back, Im in the car (roof down), then later on spot that the C at the start has had a bit snapped off it, must of been when he was vigourously sorting out the smearing......

I've had cabrio's since 1999 and havent been through a 'car wash' since then!

Result! Thumb

I did find refitting my new badges more tricky than I had imagined! With hindsight, I should probably have done more research on the best method...
