Question for you guys that have fitted paddle switches
I have cut out the slots for the paddles but when I put in the switches it seats at each end but the sides are bowing away from the wheel is this normal.

I had that too.
Some of it is taken out when the fixing bolts are tightened, the rest I filled with a tiny fillet of black sikaflex.
It isn't visible when the wheel is re-fitted
