Was this a special order only colour for a 996 as there seems to be next to none for sale?
In fact the only ones I have seen are Turbos or C4s.

Few 996.2 GT3s in this colour. It's a lovely one that's for sure.

I love it and was close to buying a C4s in this but it sold. Just back looking to see whats on the go and was specifically looking at red or blue colours and just noticed the lack of cobalt in 996's.

More 997's so figured it must have been special order.

That's been for sale for ages, for some reason. Can't be the colour, can it (I like it, for clarity)?

I was more looking at common models, its always seems to be the high spec ones so must have been a costly option.

I really wanted cobalt blue but had to settle for midnight blue which I'm getting on fine with.

Thats not Cobalt blue, looks to be Lapis or similar. I loved me C4s and sadly looks like the reasons for selling are not coming to fruition so I might have some cash to look at another. It wont be a C4s though as budget will be limited to around £15k maximum I think.

Not a scratch on me. Very lucky. Funny thing is I knew the lorry driver but hadn't seem him for about a year and his first question was basically "when did you sell the 9111" lol.

Cobalt Blue was a £1500 colour option,
whereas Zenith Blue which was 98/00 ish was a £495 Option

hence so few cobalt cars
