Hi All,

It's been a while since I posted about buying my new to me 2004 C2, so here it is. I've had it for about 2 months now and I bought it from a private seller, some might say foolishly, without a PPI.

It's a two owner car, prior to me and the seller had had the car for 10 years, keeping it nice and warm in a dry garage. It's on 55K and its got full dealer/specialist service history (Porsche Reading and Northway) and it passed a Porsche inspection day in March this year with flying colours.

I'm very chuffed with it to say the least - it's Arctic silver with a Metropole blue leather interior, which is also in top condition.

Anyway, the pics speak for themselves! Wish me luck :D :D

Cheers

Dave

Pretty Car.

Excellent pictures. :thumb:

Lovely looking car :thumb:

There's a lot to be said for buying private. You can meet the person, see what they're like, what sort of house they have. Gut feel sort of stuff

I haven't a Scooby what previous owner of my car was like... Could have been a right hooligan .... Bit like myself :floor:

very nice. I do love a nice OEM C2 in that colour and wheel combo.

is it manual?

Yep, it's a manual. Not many options, which is fine by me. PSE, PSM and a window tint I think.

Who needs options when you have a glove box

Sharing the 996.2 love :thumb: your car looks great :congrats:

a great choice scully with the manual and congrats Options Schmoptions. you have a flat six behind you and a great pedaller. who needs options. Air con maybe.

demand for the standard 996 C2 manual is going up a lot. I loved my old one. just pure, right, no fuss and a great drive.

enjoy squire.

Thanks! - actually it does have aircon - I guess I was assuming that was standard! Silly me :?

Lovely. Looks very clean. I agree it's nice to meet the previous owner to see how the car has been looked after.

Your car looks absolutely mint.

Beautiful pictures... at first glance, with that blue sky I presumed it was taken in California or somewhere 8)
