I had a call from Driftworks today, ETA for my BBS LM's is end of May/start of June. For reference I paid for them in September.

It's fair to say that this is taking a little while longer than I had thought, so I've asked if instead of an 8.5" ET56 front whether there would be any possibility of changing to a 9' ET50 - I am expecting a flat "nein", but we'll see - don't ask/don't get.

I thought they were 16-20 weeks from Japan, what lead time did they give you back in September?

Dropped the car off to have the performance of the Blaupunkt examined - it won't/can't provide a consistent DAB signal.

I've asked them to re-trim the Recaro SPG in Porsche leather to match the passenger seat, and to add heating elements to the Recaro at the same time.

Auto Audio think that it's my J&L amp interfering with the reception of the Blaupunkt, so they're fitting a four channel that they have to test this.

It'd be annoying if it is the J&L as it was the only decent six channel amp that I could find, although I imagine that it's not designed to interfere with RF reception so potentially they may swap it. I'll wait for the conclusion of the diagnostics.

In other news I had an email from Driftworks today, they've contacted BBS and successfully changed my fronts from 8.5" ET56 to 9" ET50, which I was told (by BBS in Germany) were NLA, so that's nice.

I've emailed the chaps at BG Developments to let them know that we might have a little more clearance for the AP's
