Can anyone recommend a tuner please guys.

Car is 996tt.

I want to have an aquamist methanol kit fitted along with fender intakes which is about a day and a half's work.

And before anyone says 9e or Esmotor, they only sell their packages they don't do one off jobs like methanol fitting etc (Ive checked).

Based in Windsor

Markski Tuning based in the US. Get the work fine at a garage and Marek will remote tune your car based on data logs. He's truly excellent.

9E :)

Sorry, I couldn't resist....

I would have thought that Matt could fit it for you, is it the setting up which is the concern?
I'm interested to hear how you get on, Methanol injection is something I am considering.

Speak with MRC in Banbury.

might be worth a call to DMS Automotive in Southampton , the race 996 turbos and are a good mapper who understand the car. worth a call and a chat :thumb:

Matt at Fearnsport installed my WaterMeth on behalf of ESMotor and has done most of their installs i believe so has plenty of experience... Speak direct to him.

The car has been at Fearnsport since the 28th of February for this job and unfortunately no progress has been made.

Definitely worth a call, along with some of the other tuners normally mentioned on here.

Another vote for Markski. He is a porsche turbo specialist that has been remapping for over 10 years. He provides excellent support and has plenty of good reviews for his work which can be found on google.

And as he's not UK based how exactly is he going to install the Meth kit??

He has a sort of agreement with some garages here in uk so they do the installation and he can remotely tune. This is pretty much how people in the UK install the kits he has (intercoolers, turbos, etc).

Actually i'll correct myself on this. The aquarist kit arrived a few weeks ago so to say that it went in for Meth on the 28th isn't correct as the parts weren't available.

In the interests of balance, I have got the other side of Simon's story from Matt (all directly quoted):

Firstly, the car was never booked in for the work & it wasn't at FS for 2 months, more like a month.

Secondly, Simon supplied parts which Matt told him he had no interest in fitting as he has a reputation to protect. His policy is that if supplied parts are not deemed to be suitable he won't fit them. Simon wanted to pay a relatively small amount of cash for dropping the engine, fitting his parts & refitting the engine and this offer was of no interest to FS. Simon called constantly despite this impasse & it was finally decided that no work would be carried out on the car.

I can personally attest (after using FS / Matt exclusively for 9 years) that Matt looks after his paying customers immaculately. Yes, he can be a bit slow at taking a car in for work but that's because his services are in high demand.
