I've always thought the 997 was a nice looking car, not beautiful or stunning, but pleasing on the eye. Autocar mag' rated it as 18/100 in last weeks issue.

I guessed the E-Type and Miura would take first and second places, but a 997 more beautiful than the 23rd placed car the McLaren F1 and 35th, Ferrari F40? :)

It is a very satisfying looking car, not a line out of place, good from all angles.

The big question is, which variant is better looking- Gen 1, 2, or Turbo...?

My vote is for the Gen 2 4S.

:starwars:

Gen 2 4s

Yes my vote also, in a bright solid colour for me please!!!

I have to agree , its a beautiful car ... and my vote goes to .....

Gen 2 Turbo S .... ( with a few aesthetic changes of course ) ...
. :D :D :Dance-Tap: :Dance-Tap:

But then I would as i see it as it is ..... :judge:

Gen 2 Turbo does it for me too, but my favourite looking 911 has to be the 993 Turbo. It's a thing of beauty.

Awesome - something positive about the 997.1 for a change. C4S is the looker. :thumb: ........

.......but I would think that anyway. :D

997.1 C4S.............
I agree..... :thumb:

Any 997 for my money :D

What was the other 911 generation in the list, referred to in the 997 info??

Whats the top 20 cars on the list?

I'd go for either the Lamborghini Miura SV or Jag E-type in the no.1 slot followed by a 2.7 RS in second.

I think the 250GT California Spyder deserves a top 10 place.

A racing car, but the Jaguar XJ13 edges the E type for me.

I also think colour enhances the 997 , they are all stunning cars but colours like Riviera , Speed etc. really make them look very special. :thumb:

wow i'm glad its one of those gorgeous streamline N/A cars without those monstrous vents in the side that they picked... :floor: :floor:
