The interior is a little bright for me...some gaps in the SH...worth the money?

Any one know the car?

Early history gaps always ring alarm bells with me as this is generally when a car like this would have been used most, as a daily or even business miles IMO.

Black always works and is sought after on a 993 and mileage will appeal to some despite service gaps, however Classic Grey is not my cup of tea although preferable to doom blue if I have to think of a positive!

All IMO of course. :)

That looks a very nice car. Personally I'd have that Turbo wing off it, and a black steering wheel will fix the interior. Good it has hardback sports seats too.

The wing makes a big difference at tall speeds
A big big difference.
The o/s exhaust tip is very p ssed .
Plus they don't look like motorsport tips, yet the air box is
The Carrera script is high, and also on p ssed
The 4S script is wrong
The 4 and the S should overlap
The drivers seat doesn't look like it belongs in a 50,000 mile car
The sides look stretched.
The seat cushion on it looks worn.
These would look like new at the claimed mileage
The carpet on the o/s inner sill looks far too worn, as does the carpet in the footwell.
It may be the case that a 23 stone clod hopping bootwearer has owned it, but doubtful about that
The passenger seat is similarly worn.
Creased and with a worn cushion.
Both seats look dirty and worn
I think the correct description for the interior is Unterhosen Grau
993's wear a lot lot better than that
They clean up well, and generally look a lot lot better than that at low mileage.
Take a look at Timmehs Turbo
That's what they look like
My 4S has 142k on it, and doesn't show wear like that.
Christians also is immaco
£85k
Meh........

I would be very suspicious of the massive gap in history in the first 4 years, more more so than in later years when a car may have been SORN/stored.

Smacks to me of a lease car on limited mileage pre first MOT. I wonder if Porsche actually have an OPC record of the / any services during this period with a recorded mileage ?

May be genuine but the other scenario of a first owner(s) that just did not care about servicing the car at all ?

Its always hard to tell off pics but I agree the seats look a lot more worn than the mileage suggests and I looked at a lot of 993's when I was searching a few years ago. Generally 993 interiors stand up exceedingly well to mileage but they don't look like they have at all for that mileage.

Mmmmm I don't normally comment about cars but that missing early service history is just wierd.

God I sound like Zingari :wack:

Dealer website shows 'DEPOSIT TAKEN'.

£85k :nooo:

£80-85k does not seem that bad in context of the modern world. A brand new Carrera 4S or GTS costs £90-100k before the options go on yet neither will have the beauty, style, involvement, rarity, etc that a wide body 993 has.

The Turbo at Ashgood looks decent value at £80k.

I'd bet good money that the car has been bought by an investor due to the claimed low miles. I'd also be surprised if they've even looked at the car and probably sealed a deal over the phone.

Still, on the flip side, the force is obviously still strong with 993's.

Indeed, this was not the 993 i was looking for :)

Thanks to the mods for correcting my ad too.

not suprised in the slightest this sold at that price, sketchy history or not for the first 4 yrs. the rest of the mileage and history ties in, and seats etc can be tidied. if the car stands upto inspection thats a storage queen for future investment and sale at £100+k no doubt in yrs to come.

Yep that 993 bubble has burst :floor:

My old car might look cheap at £76k in a year or two if this continues!
