Good afternoon all,
I am interested in your experiences with lowering + stance changes on your 997's, with pictures where possible.
Mine is currently standard, and i am considering H&R -20mm with RR +15mm, FR +7mm spacers....thoughts/advice much appreciated.
I am also interested in wheel options, with my current favourite probably Gen2 wheels in black
Look forward to thoughts, more so advice + pics

Nice talking to you mate, and what a fab car and color, although I see why you might want to alter or change the wheels
I have Gen 2 Turbo wheels with 15mm spacers (Bimec nurled black with black bolts) all round and dropped, by either H&R or Eibach can't remember which, but I don't think it matters both are good !!
The rear as requested with the lights etc.....

lowered mine on techart springs and used hubcentric spacers to get the look I wanted. _________________ 911 Owners,Some Invest In The Future,

That looks good what springs and spacers did you go for after?

H&R 20mm springs. 15mm + 7mm H&R spacers.

I'm not lowered but I do have a 9972 with PASM so somewhat lower than stock. This car has 12mm spacers all round to improve agility and stance. I'd like to go a bit lower but then I'd hit the big SUV-bump stops in the parking garages. Right now, it clears most of the time, but sometimes there is a higher one and argh! Crunch! It would by awful to run the aero package... _________________ 2010 997.2 in Finnish spec: 4S, white over blue, Nokian studded tyres, always filthy.
I went for 15mm spacers all round and 20mm lower on H&R springs. I love the look but scrape every road hump or bump in the road. I've actually considered changing back to the stock springs, but hard to justify another £800 in labour and geo, especially when it looks so good! _________________ Current: 2009 997.2 C2S
