In the Green Corner

a cabriolet
it's Aventura Green
it's a Tipronic
16" period alloys
unapproved 993 illuminati wiper blades
clear indicators unless you preferred the original orange
no air con although in fairness it's a cabriolet
it's non varioram but that's not much of a factory for a tiptronic cabriolet

but does have only 66,660 miles on the clock (6 more and the devil will be buying it)
there are Sports Seats
clear indicators if you prefer them over the retro orange
nice interior colour
had a recent full respray
a number plate with the number 9 in it

all for a rather reasonable 39.995 Bags

Tom your challenge is accepted

That's a strange 911v description "a good example"?

I love the colour, obviously, but if one is going to replace the indicators for clear units then why-oh-why not do the fogs as well?!..

Classic grey, no thanks. Tipy? Nah. But 66k miles for under 40k is very attractive. Also I do quite like a cab. With the roof folded the 993 looks even more diminutive.

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when that was being p/ex'd in...

"Green is not a desirable colour I'm afraid.
Green and grey is not the best colour combination, to be honest with you.
It's a shame it's an Auto, no-one wants an auto in a sports car.
Everyone wants aircon these days, even in a soft top.
I can't really sell that car with those wheels. This car should have what's called Cup 2 seventeen-inch wheels, which will mean new tyres. This would cost me in the region of £2000.
It's the early non-varioram model which isn't the most desirable, as you know.
It's had a respray, mmmmm.
Sports Seats yes, but not the ones everyone wants unfortunately.

Sit down anyway and let's do some paperwork.Would you like a coffee?

I think at the end of the day, we'd be prepared to offer in the region of twenty-two against the GTS..."

:hand:lol no no no not the 911v experience! However look at nearly all 911v descriptions, they usually say concourse, one of the very best, etc etc. Very odd on a low miler with a big money respray, interior looks mint too, that it says "good example." Makes no sense.

I think it looks stunning in pics mind the colour(s) really suit it.

It's done its dough just before it breaks the 30 barrier :hand:

From the exhaustive list  you've highlighted the only positive I can see if you like clear indicators.

It must be a very late M Reg if it's got hardbacks :dont know:

However on planet Jonttt wearing Stevie Wonder's rose tinted specs it's under valued :thumb:

Appreciate that, Sponge. But a dealer's a dealer and 911V are one of the better ones. Maybe they gave him a biscuit too.

Have to say I am stuck in the world of A Couple Of Years Ago where these cars were struggling to get £20k. Tip Cab in Green - you'd wait a lifetime to sell one and get laughed off this forum.

Things change, I can't compute.

£700 for a mobile phone makes me run for cover. Any jobs going Jontt?

PS: Nice to see you SB. Your posts go back a long way. Hope all's good.

I quite like it...! If it was £35 I'd be down there with the chequebook in hand... :eh!:

...and in the Red corner:

One of the most exciting cars you could ever drive.

Plus you get to pocket £18,000.

And when the roof's down, it won't look like a pram.

boxster

I agree Kimbo, that is a lovely car. I had a 987 2.7 before I bought the 993 3.5 years ago. I didn't mind spending £24k on a 993 but there is no way I would be spending 50 big ones on one. The 3 silver 993's that were for sale in Edinburgh have all now sold so they seem to still be selling at big bucks. I would be going for that lovely 2.9 today for less than half the money that you would need to spend on a 993!

Yes, me too, unless I had the funds and the garage to look after it properly.
The 993 at these sort of prices is now an investor's game.

£38,750 on PH. Regular Boxster does not do it for me. Spyder still not as cool as a 993 but at least it is special.

:agree:

Been perusing the 987 spyders myself...
