Wow that is just superb! Would like to know the history on this car. I wonder if it's had a engine build or possibly several. Items like rads etc would be interesting to know how often they've required replacing. Really brings things in to prospective. Here on our tiny little island we get so hung up on mileage. According to 'our' logic this car should have died and been scrapped 5x already but in those pics it looks great!
 
Wtf! thats alot of miles...Its only 238,855 miles to the moon :worship:
 
Cars, like most things, give you back what you put in.

Here in a Baku it's not uncommon to see old Mercs with this mileage but they change oils etc regularly. A lot has to do with the climate also and parts of the States has low humidity so not much corrosion. Not sure about Michigan though...

In the grim North East of England where my PNJ is currently garaged lucky you're if the bodywork last 5 yrs untarnished - bloody salt!
