Warranty needed for 996 Turbo

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a warranty for my 996 turbo (2003), it has 74k miles. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Many Thanks :) :)
 
Of interest, would a warranty cover a catastrophic IMS fail?

As this is not an issue with a turbo, apologies for the hijack!

No IMS issues on the Mezger engine. Are you after an OPC warranty ?

looking any warranty for a 996 turbo
 
Porsche extended their warranty willingness early last year / late 2015. Definitely the best IMHO but must be original so my Varta ruled me out

have you got the warrant yon your turbo S?
I too have a a turbo S so 2005.

How long can OPC extend the warrant on one of these?
 
Unfortunately porsche warranty will not cover a car with a non-stock exhaust. Feel I should mention that OP :grin:

I would take any other warranty with a pinch of salt and make sure you read through the small print carefully.
