I'm just in the process of p/exing my '98 996 coupe tip for a '09 987.2 Boxster 2.9 manual.

I've always been more of a convertible man than a coupe man, but I don't like 911 convertibles. Don't see the point; back seats even less usable than in a coupe, and the Boxster designed as a convertible.

A 911 was an itch I had to scratch, but (possibly sacrilege to 911 folk) I prefer the Boxster drive. And 255 bhp enough for me (more sacrilege?)

Another consideration: a 997.2 would cost twice as much.

Picking it up on Monday; dealer pics in the meantime.

I'm sure you'll enjoy living with a more modern car.

Whereabouts is your salon :?:

Only kidding. Have fun. :thumb:

Nice Boxster CFo :thumb:

They are fantastic little cars, a completely different drive to a 996 911 in every way, enjoy

Pop up for a shampoo and set anytime, T8. :floor:

If SWMBO would let me have 2 cars at once I'd probably have both.

Lovely Boxster vastly underappreciated cars. :thumb:
