Someone has asked me to ask...

I've never heard of it.

Has anyone here had it done or know about it and shed any light on costs and benefit and what it's all about?

Thanking you all for any advice and input.

Do It!

Look up Gyeon Q2 MOHS.

I was sceptical about it, but I'm a total convert now.
Not cheap but it does the job.

I applied mine 2 years ago & its still beading yet & thats on a daily driver!
It only requires a topping up with wetcoat every 6 months!

Good example in that video.

Wow, that looks like good stuff, and not too expensive too :thumb:

What is the wetcoat to use every 6 months :?:

I understand that the founders of Feynlab invented the concept some 15 years ago (and have blacklabelled it since). My car's booked in for the ceramic coating with Terry Hilton Automotive here in Dubai.

No doubt about it, it's great stuff.

I enjoy doing a full detail on my car and especially a good waxing session, but putting on a ceramic coat on would mean no need for waxing and I'd have more time with the wife and kids.

No thanks!

Wet coat is another product from Gyeon for topping up.
You simply spray it on after washing & hit it straight away with the power washer. I'm not sure if it reacts with the high pressure or something, but it works well!

Sounds awesome. I'm tempted myself!

Anyone know what it costs as a guide and know of anywhere in the East Midlands that does it?

I have Williams Ceramic Coat on mine..cost about £300 to get done. Washed it once with a jet lance and it came up well. Only been on a week so longevity is still to be declared...does give a lovely shine though.

+1 for Gyeon here.

How's the Williams coat going

Hi HunterT how is your Williams coat looking? I've had mine about a month so can't really give a longer term view yet.
