not one of stuttgarts finest but just had confirmation of delivery for the new daily.

Seat leon Cupra 290 black.

on a 2 year lease, 10k miles, dynamic grey, bucket seats etc. its daft fast and its going to cost £156 per month with £2k down. Boom!! ha ha!! crazy last min deal as they are doing a facelift which is hardly noticeable ;-)

got a tuning box for it so it should take it to 340bhp so its going to be hilarious. hoping it will coming with the Pilot Super Sports and not the nasty Pirellis.

had a Q5 for many years as the daily but family getting bigger so I need a smaller car and the missus needs the bigger car.

fancied sth fun, cheap and leave the red baron with the Mezger in the garage. pics to follow once its hear.

Congrats! Sounds like a bit of a bargain for the amount of fun you can have in that Seat, enjoy!!
 
What can I say...had 13 miles on it when I picked it up from the PDI centre. Bright white and clean in the sun 😉

Its quick...really punchy and still running it in for 600 miles. still getting used to the modes of comfort, sport and Cupra. sport and then cupra makes the exhaust louder, suspension & steering harder and raises the power. Cupra is the highest setting.

Great quality and the price is bonkers for a £157 per month on the lease for a £32k car.

Loads of options from heated bucket seats with alcantara , folding mirrors, nav, USB, Bluetooth, really fast and close box, Slippy diff, Xenons and those follow the road lights etc. 19 inch rims on decent tyres, big brakes.

Basically a golf R but without the 4wd. Most come of the factory with near on 300 bhp

Got a tuning box for it which should take it to 340 bhp which should be hilarious!

Cold and slippy out there but it feels stable and grippy.

lots to learn about it and to enjoy but a cracking daily.

That is a stonking deal! Doing the math the dealer or manufacturer discount must of been huge!! While not a massive fan of those cars at list I sure as hell would be at that sort of money. Congrats and kudos to you for your very obvious shopping and negotiation skills :)

340bhp? That's going to be a riot!!!! :eek:
 
indeed. its the last run of cars before the recent face lift (which er looks no different ) so the dealers were keen to out them it seems.

I drove a run in one and it was crackers. they all seem to be closer to 300 out of the box but not good for the vw range if they put them down as 300. bit like Porsche with the 911 and Gayman ;-)

340 will be hilarious though I think heavy on front tyres!!

My visit to BMW a week or so before I pulled the trigger on the 997 was an eye opener. The dealer showed me a list of cars with manufacturer discount/incentives and seeing the 17k discount off a 6 series left me scratching my head for ages. I am glad he did though because it made me feel a lot better about buying used :p

Yeah I hope that upgrade came with some tyre vouchers ;) enjoy!
 
your car yoda skillz served you well to not buy a 6 series. not a good car and they drop £50 notes as you drive away from the dealers ;-)
