2x large BBS Motorsport boxes from Carnewal turned up...

These are so much lighter than stock, very happy...

BBS E88 18x8.5 = 20lbs : 9.1Kg
BBS E88 18x11 = 21.5lbs : 9.8Kg

18x8.5 = 20lbs : 9.1Kg

18x11 = 21.5lbs : 9.8Kg

Some other weights incase you're interested:

BBS RI-A 18x8.5 = 8.4Kg
BBS RI-A 18x11 = 9.1Kg

BBS E05 18x8.5 = 9.35Kg
BBS E05 18x11 = 9.85Kg

BBS LM 18x8.5 = 21.6lbs or 9.8Kg
BBS LM 18x11 = 26.9lbs or 12.2Kg

BBS GT3 OEM 18x8.5 = 12.25Kg
BBS GT3 OEM 18x11 = 13.6Kg

Wow, sexy !

(I hate to say something slightly negative, but those polished rims will surely need a lot of looking after?!)

... but no pain no gain Thumb

Beautiful wheels Stuart Wink

Roro, if they get to the point where they need proper sorting the good thing is they can be stripped down and separated. I did one of mine this year; just deflate tyre then undo all the bolts to split the rim.

I can't be precious about the polish. My smile outweighs the worry. As soon as they're fitted I'll get some pictures.

Ps... what's the difference between these and the LM's you had previously?

Looks and weight, the LMs are actually quite heavy.

I really wanted BBS monoblocks but the offsets for 18" options were just too much. The look very nice.

Is this what shoe shopping feels like for women...?

These are my absolute favourite rim for the 997 five stud. A load of Manthey tax but so hard to resist.

Check them carefully for cracks where the spokes meet the rims after you've done the second set of tyres; my bet is you'll find them cracked & you can't repair them... Surprised

They are pretty but to bin £6k of wheels after such a short life doesn't sit well with me. My OZ Alleggerita's that are ~5 years old have also cracked on every spoke, but they've had slicks on for the last 3 years & are only £1.5k but it still hurt a bit to bin them...
