Gents, on the 997 page there is a group buy for anyone interested in getting some internal bits refreshed and painted. It is intended as a forum group buy not exclusively for 997 owners, but have just realised that tucking it away in the 997 section some of you might not have seen it or thought it was only for 997's. So I thought I would just post a link for anyone that's interested.

Cheers for the heads-up Phil... can they refinish the inner sills (you know the bit with the switches on, or the bit for your umbrella!) in OE style matt black?

They have a soft touch top coat that can be added over any bottom colour it is similar to the rubberised finish on the 997/987 centre console, or they can use a matt lacquer.
There was discussion about this and it was one of those items that does get knocked about a bit by shoes etc and we thought it would be good to get it refinished in any colour you liked in gloss or matt and then get them clear wrapped for a bit of belt and braces by your local wrapping company. or they can carbon dip it for you. various weave patterns but the AMG one in the pic on the main thread was felt the closest to Porsche OE carbon weave :thumb: :grin:
