Recommended?

Had a chat and quotes and they seem to price well but my question is over nonadjustable suspension how good can it be?

Adjustable coil overs etc I can see the point.

They are very good and I wouldn't use anybody else .

I have just sold a 993 that they worked there magic on and even the well known dealer who purchased the car commented on how well it drove.

I am sure other people may do as good a job but I know CoG will and they have also given me free advice when asked about other cars.

They are not cheap but I'd rather pay once and get it right as the handling of the car is a big part of why I love Porsche .[/img]

Center Gravity did a brilliant job on my 993 too, would never use anyone else. Chris and Pete are perfectionists and both are Porsche owners and enthusiasts too

Fantastic fully recommended. They set my 911 up just how I wanted it. It puts a smile on my face every day. They also did my Cayenne so not just limited to 911s. I would never use anyone else. Best value for money I have ever spent!

Without doubt the best people available to set your car up.

They specialise in suspension only, have invested heavily in technology but more importantly, they have a huge archive of experience to draw upon when setting your car up for you.

Mine has been there 5 times for different set ups, each and every time I have received exactly what I requested. It's not that they set it wrong the other times, it is that I like to experiment a lot within the confines of the stock Porsche components.

Highly recommended, as all above have commented :thumb: There are others but only one CG. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Highly recommended. I have not come across anyone with an inclusive, thorough process for a road car that comes anywhere near CG at their prices.
Put another way, at their price and process they typically will spend 4/5 hours test driving, examining, setting up the car with you present where others may spend an hour/90 mins at most. It is not just about having the technology such as the Hunter and Beissbarth laser jig. It is about having this with an inclusive process of thorough examination, their experience and setting the car how you want it.

Just because your dampers are non adjustable it doesn't mean that there is no adjustment to your suspension settings.

Take it to them and you will be delighted, even the reassurance of knowing that your car is performing how it should, for the type of journeys you most enjoy.

Not expensive either.

I highly recommend them.

Agree with all above......................worth bearing in mind that, from memory, all Porsches have fully adjustable and indexable suspension systems. One small tip if you are going to have your suspension sorted, particularly on an older car, is to give your adjusters a good pre-soak in easing oil, could well save you time and money.

I assumed my car drove the way it did, as that's what 911s are like...

Chris eliminated tram lining, drifting and dialled out most of the understeer .
A 10 year old car is expected to need some new bits, rear coffin arms & front top mounts, but that was it.

I can take my hands off the wheel on a bumpy B road, and car no longer wants to put me in the ditch.

He is quite a way from me, so I left car with him for the week , and got train there and back. Weekends get booked up

Can't recommend them enough. Best thing I ever did is taken my car to them.
Feels like a proper 911 after Chris did the business on it.

Cheers all. I popped in on way home after work. Heard about them recommended and had a chat etc. Trying to get a bit more feedback before paying out that's all. I don't mind paying but I don't like wasting it. :)

My rear shock has gone so looking at replacement and a set up.

Do you recommend coffin arms, antiroll bars and top mounts etc?

I'll pop by and have another word anyway as I want to know about some things before i commit.
