2003 996 c4s in basalt black. Has some nice spec from the factory: electric seats, red stitching, red seat belts, leather ignition surround, factory carbon pack, pse, Bose psm, sunroof and turbo wheels.

It's got 120k on the clock now, but is still running strong and gets driven (relatively) hard every day. It's a car after all. :dont know:

The only things I've done to it is to replace the genuine coloured centre caps with monochrome ones and the bonnet badge with a black and silver one.

Looks lovely - reckon you need new engine mounts though :)

Really? How can you tell that? It was in the local specialist for the past week and he never picked up on that.

:?:

We are lucky to be able to drive cars like these as our daily drives :thumb:

Question

Gaps round the zorst tips look larger than they should be.

Gotcha! You could well be right. They're probably the original mounts and have turned to jelly after 120k miles.

I'll,look into it. Thx!

For sure. I wouldn't roll anything else now.

I might swap mine out for a 997 c4s in the next 12 months as I've had this for 3 years now. Maybe could do with getting a slightly newer one with lower mileage to run for the next 3 or 4 years.

Or it could be the tips have been adjusted to be like that on purpose.

However if its still on the original mounts at 120k miles, regardless of how the tips are adjusted you will feel a massive difference by changing the mounts. The RSS ones are superb :thumb:

I'll check the old invoices. I suspect they haven't ever been replaced. Something to get done with the silencers in September.

A couple of pictures of the old girl, before she went.

Did you trade it in? If so decent value?

Sold it to my cousin. Trader offered me above what the trade in list price, was, but I'd promised Rich 1st refusal, so he paid me what they'd have given.
