Selling a front pair and rear pair of genuine 18" twists as i've swapped to some sport classics.

I'm specifically selling this a 2 pairs as the fronts are the more desirable Turbo technology (hollow spoked) type, whilst the rears are standard solid spoke twists. Again, both pairs are genuine Porsche parts that I ran as a set quite happily. Obviously I'd rather sell as a set!

Wheels have done less than 500 miles since a full strip and refurb at MyAlloys in Basingstoke, and are now powdercoated in graphite. All 4 are unmarked.

Wheels are shod with virtually new (again less than 500 easy miles) Michelin Pilot Sport 3's.

Wheels will come with crested wheel caps as pictured

Sizes and part numbers:

Front: 7.5 x 18 ET50 - 225/40/18 993.362.134.05
Rear: 10 x 18 ET65 - 265/35/18 993.362.140.04

Prices:

Front Pair: £525
Rear Pair:£300
Both pairs: £700

Maybe. Based on eBay prices I thought it was fair.

Are you sure on those PNs?

The first one is as Turbo Technology (Hollow Spoke)
The second one is a Turbo Look (Solid Spoke)

Are the spokes grooved or smooth on the back?
 
Can you confirm they are 265 tyres on the back?

Those are the correct numbers, and the tyre size is correct. Just double checked and took the photos below.

Ok, so it appears that I have a miss-matched set? The fronts are the smooth:

If they are miss-matched I honestly and genuinely didn't know. There is nothing in the detailed history I got with the car that suggests new wheels were purchased, so i'm at a loss to explain.

I'd seen the spokes were different as I've taken the wheels off a few of times for maintenance tasks, but thought that was just how they were. I do have a beard, but i'm going to have to shave it off as I have failed this basic parts identification test-my PCGB card has been marked!

On the upside, for me at least, a quick trawl of ebay shows that the hollow wheels are worth a bit more, so perhaps as suggested above I was letting them go a bit cheap.

It doesn't seem right to advertise this as a set now so i'll edit the advert to sell as 2 pairs, with the hollows priced more in line with the prices on Ebay. Chris from Exel has also PM'd me to say that he thinks the rears have had the rims ground to fix kerb marks at some time in the past (they were perfect when I bought the car and I only refurbed for a colour change) so I'll revise the price of those too.
 
Sorry, I thought I was just alerting you to a typo (one way or the other - ie all hollow or all solid)

Could have been worse, could have been one of each per axle! :eek:
 
Someone is going to get a bargain on the rear pair . Tyres must be worth that :?:
