Fuchs wheels on my 991.1?

Was seriously thinking of fitting Fuchs wheels to my recently bought 991.1 (with the black painted centres) but it seems that no N rated tyres can be found that match the tyre size recommended for the 19" Fuchs wheels

How important is it to fit N rated tyres to my 991.1?

I appreciate that non Porsche wheels (and spacers) and non N rated tyres could affect warranty and resale value of my 991.

Cheers

Simon

Fuchs wheel 19"

This is the 19" Fuchs wheel that I found. I know the pic isn't a 991. :)

i do think black wheels look shite on a modern car, if you want a cheap version just buy some old fiesta wheels, and forget to put the silver wheel trims back on, they will look the same.

You got the risks Simon, otherwise I think you will be fine as long as you stick with correct other ratings like speed. Go for it.!

What size tyres do you require? I'm sure tyreleader.co.uk has Michelin, Pirelli and Bridgestone (all N rated) in 295/30/19 and 305/30/19.
The front should be 235/35/19 I assume.

The tyre sizes recommended are 235/40 ZR19 and 285/35 ZR19,

Front wheels requiring 15mm spacers.

You could just fit 295 on the rear. 40 series profile for the fronts seem very tall. I surprised they aren't the same as other 19's. (235/35/19)

Thanks. I'll investigate further...

Not important at all to have N rateds ,
I've got Michelin pilot super sport tyres on mine , far better than any N rated , been into opc twice and they don't care and they won't affect warranty

Tequipment lists a 20" summer classic wheel/tyre combo for £5469 (TMPS) which is close to the Fuchs - could this be an option?

This is officially approved and wouldn't cause any handling quirks or issues with Insurance or warranty.

Thanks, DRZ911!

They are in fact the wheels from the 991 50th Anniversary Limited Edition.

Have checked on Tequipment and they are only available for Carrera 4 models?! Seems odd as the 50th Annivesary 991 was 2WD and based on Carrera S...

I'll ask OPC why can't they be fitted to a 991 C2...!
