Hi all

What cell are the oem CATs on a 996.2 gt3? 400 cell or more?

Am thinking about some decent headers over oem as well as some 200 cell cats.

Will 200 cell cats make a big difference or not worth bothering?

Thanks nick

I'm thinking along the same lines for when mine eventually pack it in... Would be interested to know too. I'd imagine 1/200 cell would be a lot louder so not a great thing from a track noise perspective

Speaking to folks the difference in power gains between 200 and 100 cells is not much in a gt3 or NA car. Makes a bigger difference on turbo cars and when going big bhp.

So 200 cell would work and no MOT or major lambda issues. Some gains and more gains along with the decent manifolds.

Maybe a re map too would help out some more.

Certainly noise will increase on what is a marginal car when OEM on noise at many uk tracks. That is the downside.

I think I will go on a diet which is also cheaper too ;-)
