Saw some replica RS speedline rims but the rears are only 9.5" not 10"
According to various tyre charts the max for that size is 275mm.
Anyone actually confirm if that is the case? Cheers

285 on a 9.5j would not be recommended via a tyre manufacturer or decent tyre fitting shop.

Optimal size for 9.5j width as follows:

245 - minimum tyre width
255 & 265 - ideal tyre size
275 - maximum tyre size

That's pretty much all I can find tbh. 10" or even 11" for those tyres.

interestingly the guys at Veloce rims are saying 285s are fine on 9.5" rims, possibly because they only sell them in 9.5?

I have 295 on my 10j rears if that helps.

tbh i think 295 still falls within the recommendations for 10" whereas 285s seem to fall outside "internet" information on sizing. The guy at Veloce has run 285s on his own car on 9.5" rims without any problems apparently.
still unsure lol!
