Hi All
I've decided to part with lovely 993.
This has been a very hard decision to make but feel the time is right for me to let her go. This is mainly due to Family commitments\House move & Lack of use nowadays with my young family (Kids 6 & 2).

I will post a proper advert here on 911uk and I also plan to advertise on Pistonheads & Car & Classic but for now I thought I thought I would list the main detail in hope that a 911uk member maybe interested.

I'll list the main points but there will be a little more detail in the advert when I post.

I have lovingly owned and cherished the car for the last 5 years and there has been absolutely no expense spared in keeping the car in the excellent condition. I am an absolute enthusiast and long time forum member so hopefully reviewing previous posts you'll appreciate that the car has been extremely cared for.
Maybe some of you that have seen the car at 911uk events can also vouch for this :D

Here goes:

Car detail and Spec:
1995 993 C4 Coupe
99,000miles
3.6 pre vario
6 speed Manual gearbox
Iris Blue
Classic grey interior (Inc. highly sought after hardback sports seats)
Air-conditioning (working – ice cold)
Genuine Cup 2 alloys with New Continental Sport Contact N2's

Service History:
The car has full Main dealer and specialist service history (OPC, Portiacraft, Camtune\wrightune, Jaz & Precision).
I have had the car serviced by the highly regarded Precision Porsche of East Sussex in my 5 years ownership

Ownership:
*Originally supplied Parker & Parker OPC Cumbria on 25-03-95
*The car has had 8 owners in total in 20 years
*As mentioned I've owned for the last 5 yrs purchased Dec 2010 where I had a Porsche 111 point check carried out on the vehicle (included in history file)
*The previous owner (from whom I purchased) bought from 911v so again that will hopefully assure you on the quality of the car based on the quality of cars 911v supply.

Bodywork:
*Car is garaged every night and never used in wet weather so the bodywork in excellent condition
*Windscreen and scuttles are absolutely solid with no rust what so ever (inspection welcome). Precision have inspected these, wax-oiled and new\tight rubber seals fitted to future proof.
*Full comprehensive Precision Chassis leg repair involving engine drop - big 993 job completed and now chassis legs are stronger and better than when they left the factory (Pics here : http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=97976&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=chassis+legs&start=60)

*Top end engine rebuild to rectify minor oil leaks @ a cost of £4100 – 04/06 (Shows how particular previous owners were)

Slight reduction in price that will hopefully indicate what I'm actually looking to accept.
Thanks

Pip

It's a fair point pip and I did intend to take some decent interior shots and post up too but just not got round to it.
The interior is too in lovely condition with the sought after hard-back seats

I will have the car out the garage tomorrow so will try and grab some decent interior shots.

People look for reasons NOT to buy these sorts of cars, leaving out the entire interior (especially, if in reality it is a selling point itself, hardbacks etc), just moves the prospect onto the next car assuming the worst.

Sorry to say, but once I've checked out an ad and crossed it off the list, I don't revisit to see if the seller has added more info.

On the upside, half the market aren't even looking for a couple more weeks.

Cheers for the input GT4 and I can see your point.
As mentioned I'll get some interior shots posted up too (hopefully tonight) :thumb:

Decided to remove it from sale.
1/ Currently nothing really happening quickly with the house move
2/ Dont really want to let it go
3/ Want to do Le Mans in her again in June

Will reevaluate as and when I need to and if I need to may potentially consider SOR/commissioned sale but for now it's firmly staying in the garage and will be "prepped" for Lemans in June once again
:thumb:

Ok...I have decided (again) to advertise my 993 for sale. I was unsure on the sale before due to a number of factors, but giving it some more careful consideration, and after nearly 6 years of joyful ownership it's up for sale again.

I've just posted a new add on here (should be published shortly) and i will also be posting on Pistonheads and Car & classic too.

I've reduced the price this time round as feel this is in line with current cars on the market compared to the standard of my car with regards to amount of work that's been carried out.

It's now up for £42,995 ono

Also based on feedback I've tried to take more detailed pictures of the cars Exterior, Interior, Engine bay, Wheels etc. I couldn't include all of these in my add so I have included them all here for anyone that's interested.

Pics Below...
