Not in a car, on a road bike but I presume the same principals apply-
What is the quickest line round a roundabout when effectively doing 180 degrees to return up the same road you've come down? I am looking to carry as much speed as possible out of the corner and into the straight.
Imagine the roundabout as a clock, where the road joins the clock at 6 o'clock.
Is is best to start on the far left, and swing in to apex at the inside of the furthest point of the roundabout (12 o'clock) before exiting toward the far left again? Or aim for a later apex (3 o'clock), meaning I will slow more into the apex, but lean less, get power down earlier and exit faster?
