Hi all,

Going to be changing the rear brakes on my 987. No warnings on the dash yet but the pads and discs are well worn.

I am going to get discs, pads and dampers. Do I need to replace the warning sensors and pins or can I reuse?

Appreciate your thoughts.

Ben

Reuse is by all accounts tricky so if you want warning sensors then probably best to get new. The price is daft from OPCs though so probably worth looking into aftermarket for sourcing them (when I looked a while back the boxed OE option was something like 3 times the price of aftermarket).

If you check the material even semi-regularly then there is little need though IMHO (which is why the track day crown rarely bother with them).
