hi , on the 997 you turn on pse then unplug a connector in the engine bay which keeps it open all the time ,

Does anyone know if this Can this be done on the 991 :?:

Thanks

Anyone :dont know:

I fitted a Carnewal remote to the PSE on my GT3 which makes it switchable from a keyfob. Not sure if they do one for a 991?

Cheers ,
I've just been advised that I can pull the vacuum tubes off and that will keep it open :thumb:

Just check whether you need to plug the vacuum tube. I was advised to do so on my Golf R 32 so that the vacuum bit is not working flat out trying to do the impossible.

Yes that was also advised , cheers ,
Do I understand then that the pse would be normally open but vacum pulls them shut and when you turn it on then the vacuum stops and the pse opens

I've owned mine 8 months. It has PSE .

First thing I do is press "sport"

This last weekend, I pulled the brown vacuum plug.
I can confirm its loud ALL the time

Just remember to activate sports mode before pulling the plug.
I put a small plastic bag over both ends of the exposed wires

Neighbours now hate me all the time, not just some of it :floor:

Hi, yes your referring to the 997 which I had and did the same , but as unsure to where the electric plug is or even if it has one on the 991 were looking now at the actual vacuumed pipes down on the exhaust its self :thumb:

Oops sorry

I tried a few weeks ago to see what the 991 equivalent of
The 996 diode snip in the relay
The 997 unplugging the brown connector

Half an hour on google made gave me the conclusion that the dme does a lot more work with the PSE to make the loud sound and so at that time there was no way to have a permanent loud noise by undoing a connection.

Except pulling off the vac tubes :?:

Ah right , I'll do some googling as well and see what I can find ,
Cheers :thumb:

Edit - thinking aloud - there still must be some physical flap that pulls open somehow that can be rigged and held open by some means ??
