Hi all,

There's quite a long running and informative thread on the Turbo S style ducts here:

http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=87336

However, I personally prefer the TechArt style ones (probably in the minority...). The genuine items are stupidly expensive (circa £500) and I've come across these as an alternative, although I'm not really looking to purchase anytime soon:

http://www.f-s-h.com/contents/en-uk/p446_Bremsluftschlitze_993_mit_Nebelscheinwerfern.html

A few pics for reference attached Smile. Oh, and a poll for fun Smile.

A few questions/thoughts:

1] Any MOT implications for not having side lights?

2] If so, does anyone know whether it's easy to swap the fog light bulb housing with the sidelight one instead, on the item linked to above?

3] Assuming there is no MOT implication for not having a fog light, given how popular the Turbo S style ducts are....?

4] Porscheshop (click here) have a similar item, and indicate bumper modification is required, not favourable; anyone know what this may involve?

5] Anyone used f-s-h.com before? Looks like a rather basic website...

I have the TechArt on my Artic Silver Turbo, they were on there when I bought it. I do like them as they are different. I have bought some standard fog lights but I have not fitted them as yet. I've had no issues with the MOT.
I think I'll leave them on there for now!

Had all three, prefer the Turbo S ducts, added side lights to the DRls provided.

Reckon you could drill in a sidelight to the Techart style ones (top left I think is standard equivalent).
They do look good value

Nice! Yours, like Mr 911UK's subsequent post appear to be the real deal, as it seems TechArt items have a mini side light built in... which may explain why you have no MOT issues (the copies do not have this).

Very cool... but very expensive! Thanks for the link - some good images of the setup Thumb.

You have a very smart set up, I remember reading about it here.
Do you have any pics from when you ran the TechArt items? Smile

Indeed, though I think I'll leave it on the wishlist as I'm not entirely decided Smile.

Turbo S style - simply because they're the ones I've bought and I'm not changing them again....

Turbo S style with LED upgrade cheaper than buying those glass fog lights
