are these cars as good as they are talked up to be.
my sis in law bought a mini one and it got me looking at minis.

I've driven the 3rd gen JCW on road and track, and as much as it surprises me, I found it to be undertyred. But now that remaps and coilovers are available, these can be made to work quite well. I wouldn't be afraid of it. I do find the interior to be quite busy though and I missed the single rev counter behind the wheel.

Wife has second gen JCW, really nice to drive, goes well. Can be a bit harsh on certain road conditions, but overall a great fun car.
