soft close issues on cayenne

just picked up my third cayenne ! yes third, must keep this one, anyways, full of extras, one being the soft close option, when i close boot its supposed to pull in the last cm or so, it doesn't , it makes a noise, like a motor whirring, and i have to push it, other times it will simply do it itself, anyone had this issue ?
