Hi I am considering the 991, possibly black run out edition, possibly carrera4 which is £80k in the uk. I would like to hear from current and past owners what the costs of ownership are likely to be over 1 and 3 years? Including servicing costs, and depreciation. I am aware that Insurance estimates will be very personal. thank you. (ps the question is for all 991 owners not one specific model).

It will loose 7-10k the day you buy it (retail-trade spread) and then 6-10k per year going forward for the next couple of years so 12-20k 1 year 25-35k over 3 years.
Servicing over 1 year will be 0-600£ and £2k over three years. Tyres are £800 a set every 20k miles.
Everything other than depreciation is an irrelevance.

My c2s has a trade value 12.5k less than I paid for it 15 months ago, and has had a £550 service/brake fluid and 400£ rear tyres.
Any way you cut it it's an 800-1200£ per month cost without petrol. To me worth every penny

Ditto that :thumb:

If you want to keep cost low I would be looking to by a private C2S PDK at around 2012 with 20k on the clock for £62 to £65k with a good spec.

My estimate is based no my own option over 2 years.

Service £650
Warranty £2200
Tyres £1000
Depreciation £10k

I between 2012 and now I have owned a Gen 1 Targa 4, C2S PDK, C2S PDK and now as 991 C2S PDK.

After adding up all the servicing costs and warranty costs I am probably around £5k in profit over the last 3 cars :D
