Has anyone updated their navigation system? What does the update give you?

had mine done at the last service at Bournemouth OPC, on mine it gave it 7 digit postcode and updated maps, haven't noticed anything else but apparently they used 4 discs to do it and took about 2 hours during the service. (fixed price i think it was about £150). Glad i got 7 digit postcode, always annoyed me when the short code was the only option. Really useful when i drove to Gert at Carnewal in Belgium - took me straight there from Calais no dramas.
 
Apart from the postcodes is the map update noticeable? The cost on tequipment is £340. Is that not what you paid?

Do you know when the update came out? No point doing it if it was a while ago and a new update is imminent.
