What did you buy your 997 this week?

New key
New number plates
LTT fitting

Pair of later style replacement key cases
CDC-4 CD Magazine
2013 European Maps DVD
A pamper session at Centre Gravity (so an early start for me tomorrow)

I also ordered the Durametric kit directly from them in the US. I'm in Hawaii right now so I don't have to pay all the nasty charges in top. Professional kit £415, thank you sir, that'll do nicely!

July - wheel refurb Excel
August -OPC service
August - Detail not sure where yet....
Sept - start extension with new luxury garage :floor:

Total spend around 40-50 k :nooo:

An engine rebuild at OPC Leeds, £7k ouch! However, with that done she's going to be like new (ish)

That's a bloomin cheap rebuild!

What was done to it out of interest? Also - I kinda like your front bumper....

I'm curious. where did you get the carbon parts?

Private Plate
OPC did the MOT
Changed all the Exhaust clamps for new charged 3 hrs at OPC for doing them :what:

Well it's not a rebuild just my flippant description, new piston ring, flywheel, and several other "bits" too numerous to list. Basically the diagnosis and the labour is more than half of the cost to fix it. A bit miffed but it needs doing and I need my car back. Would have been more had I not questioned the need to change the manifolds as they had oil in them (obviously) the first guy I spoke to said they had to be done, the second agreed with me they could be cleaned perfectly. Had I not questioned that they would have charged me for a full replacement and another £1.5k or thereabouts.

Went a bit mad treating the car

LTT Fitted
LED bulb upgrade (Exterior)
Carnewal Remote for Sports Exhaust (Thanks Elliot!!)
Zunsport Grills (Thanks Plavix)

Front discs (Sebro)
Front pads (Textar)
Wear Sensors

Split into two orders with www.carparts4less.co.uk to get £30 discount using code CP15LESS so a grand total of under £230 delivered for OE parts.

Almost as good as the Brazil v Germany first half hour....

Brake fluid change - what difference in pedal feel!
Spark plug replacement x6
New coil packs as the old ones had seen better days (to say the least).

9e (Nine Excellence) did this work for me - highly recommended!

Major Service inc all the Bits
New Front Pads and Discs
More Importantly New Sport Design Steering Wheel
Oh yeah and 12 Months Road Tax
And a Roof Detail

Skint but happy

Oh, yeah - £500 to the government as well; the downside of a May '06 car!
