unleaded or what?

Can anyone help me?????? I am/was a lotus enthusiast, but now just bought a 1987 911 targa, but previous owner has not had it on the road for 12 years! he says it will not run on unleaded, please help, Cheers Andy
 
Super unleaded preferable but will run fine on ordinary unleaded.

My 3.2 Carrera CS (1988) runs with no issues on ordinary unleaded most of the time simply because super is not available locally....... However, I do fill up with super when I can.
