Test drive temporary insurance

Hi all

Looking to test drive what might be my next 993 next week. Another Targa. Private sale, as opposed to a dealer... a personal first.

Can anyone suggest where I should go to get temporary Insurance cover? Seems most of the possible suppliers won't cover such a car.

I would say if you are happy with the car and will be buying it subject to a drive, give the seller a deposit and ask him to put you on his Insurance for a day which would probably cost him a small admin charge of £35.
