hello,
i am new to this site so i am sorry if i do things abit wrong..:-S
i am new to the 911 gang
i recently bought a 1984 targa with 112k on it from a nice chap in Guildford.

been driving it for a couple of months mostly weekends, and totally loving it, ( questioning why i didnt do this sooner :) )

but recently the gearbox is leaking. :-( ( its a 915 box )

i start the car and nothing if i drive it it changes smooth, but if i drop from 3rd down there is a noise.
the gears go in smooth there isnt any crunching on any gears at all.
so i am abit stumped been reading about it and most of the threads talk about syncos and crunching ... i think mine are ok because there isnt any of that.

lastly i found a receipt of a gearbox rebuild 20k prior (so 90k on the clock)
thanks any help is much appreciate.
