The controversially styled Porsche Panamera with its less than stellar styling, could soon be changing as the company is preparing to introduce the next-generation model in 2015 or 2016.
Expected to be heavily influenced by the Panamera Sport Turismo concept, the model could have an aggressive front fascia and a 911-inspired rear end which mercifully hides the car's hatchback.
Little else is known about the model, but previous reports have indicated it will ride on the MSB platform (modular standard architecture) that will also underpin future Bentleys and possibly a couple Lamborghinis. Slated to feature steel and aluminum construction, the MSB architecture could enable the Panamera to weigh 200 lbs (91 kg) less than the current model.
