Hi all, newbie here (great forum, by the way!)
Bit of a strange 1st post but a very good friend of mine has asked me to sell his late Father's 1967 911T 2.4.
I know a fair bit about cars, but have absolutely no idea about how to value an old 911!
The car can only be described as immaculate, it was his pride and joy (along with a Lancia Fulvia, that i've now got).
I've seen cars for 15k, and ones for 50k, there seems to be such a difference if you (like me) don't understand all the different model depictions! .. I know i've given a very vague description, but a dealer has offered him 30k, and i'd like to know if thats the correct figure or not?
Any help/pointers/views and links to the value would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks
James

If a dealer has offered £30k up front then they are probably expecting to retail it for 40, implying that what you might get privately would be somewhere in between. I trust that as well as here you have also posted to the Porsche Club GB forum? Usually lots of polishers over there who could talk you through originality and that kind of thing.

Thanks Colin, will give Porsche Club GB forum a whirl aswell!
Is the 'T' 911 of that vintage generally more/less desirable than the others?
