I'm in the process of refurb'ing my wheels (won't as good as ChrisW but I'm in a rush) for the Supercar Event on Saturday and want to know what would be the best base coat paint code to use for a similar to original look? I would think something with small metallic pieces.
I need to buy it first thing Tomorrow as I'll only have the day to finish them and let them dry. I will be 2k lacquering after.

Do you mean colour coat, rather than base coat (undercoat)?

If so, Felgensilber Metallic L9A1 (literally "wheel silver")

Wurth Silber (silver) Met. is a good match too (some say identical - much is of course down to undercoat, application and lacquer used).

Excellent, I'll get some mixed up when they open in the morning. :salut:

Base is what they call the metallic colour coat, its usually matt then it gets lacquered over to give it depth.

Brain burp, I was thinking of primer :?
