Ferdinand "Butzi" Porsche, 911 Creator has Died

A legend!

R.I.P

Rest in peace Butzi, the world would be a duller place without your forever legendary design skills.

(p.s. Mrs. F.A. Porsche, if you're not sure what to do with that tatty old green 993 Speedster and that odd suicide door 928 estate, I'll gladly look after them for you.)

Designing one of the (if not the) most iconic sports cars ever... what a mark to make on the world. Providing so much joy for so many people from the first time you see one as a young boy to the first time you drive one.

RIP

'The' creator...What a car, what a man...

Legend. RIP.

Well said Ben, strikes a chord with many I'm sure.
I imagine that many a glass will be tipped in the man's memory at the Le Mans Classic this year.

A tribute

He'll get a mention on 'Last word' on Radio 4 just starting now...
