Had my first extended drive today at Leeds OPC in the CS. What a car it is, knew it would be fast, but not prepared for how good it was on the roundabouts at breakneck speeds (all done in controlled situations) which were damp but posed no problems for it. The PDK was brilliant and suits the cars performance envelope, giving swift overtaking with relaxed cruising when you wanted to slow things down. Much more refined as well.

Now crunch time as they have a tempting GTS which is more value for the money...... But now I've tasted the fillet steak, will the GTS taste as good. :?

Yes, thanks Maxie, test driving in the morning.

Also changing Landrover Freelander for the new Audi A6 abroad (not yet launched) need 4x4 for shoot and skiing trips and the LR seats were not up to the 950 mile ski journey last month. My 997 seats were extremely comfortable on our summer jaunt to the south of France so I know it is not me.
