Today I drove the future, and it's 991 (PDK) shaped

Slight correction, the model name will be "Carrera Hybrid S" (although the way the nomenclature is going, I wouldn't be surprised if they fitted the entire electro-chemical equation on the rump too!)
 
so a hybrid there will be....my god what is the world coming too...I was only joking when I asked about a deisel or electric.....looks like there is a planned hybrid .....though gulp...
 
I wouldn't be overly worried, their first attempt wasn't so shabby:

The GT3-R has two electric motors, each developing 102 brake horsepower (76 kW), driving the front wheels to supplements the 480 brake horsepower (360 kW) four-litre flat-six engine at the rear.
