Images taken from a DIY Brake Pad Change, done on my ex-996 GT3.

Car is 2003 996 GT3 running Alcon 360mm Discs and on the 6 pot callipers another set of Pagid RS29 pads are being installed.

Car is used 100% on the track.

Note, In this procedure "anti squeel dampers" were not fitted but should be fitted, which come in two sizes that are needed for the six pot calipers.

This job was done a while ago, so if anyone would like to improve on the description from pictures used, please advise and an update will be added.

Note 2, ignore the condition of these Race Discs, which have been subjected to a very high heat load and are designed for this purpose.

with pads that worn, should really change anti squeel dampers also, two sizes needed for six pot calipers.

agreed that should be done on OEM brakes

this set up running Pagid RS29 Pads on Alcon discs, meant for the purpose of the brakes anti-squeel pads arent needed, although based on my experience the RS29's are one of the quietest race pads around !

Good pics Sundeep. :thumb:
