Hi all,

I am going to buy my next 911 in the UK. Anyone can recommend a decent P dealer not too far from the Eurotunnel ? I called the one closest to me and the sales person sounded alright but that of course does not make a great Porsche center.

This is how my 911 will look :

Is it possible to have red stitching on the black leather??

If so, how much would that cost?

I think that would look great along with red seat belts - red dials might be a step too far though...

I was thinking of ordering red seat belts but I wasn't sure if they didn't have the 'Gordon Gekko' look about them, and thus looking a bit flash :?:

Red is good! (that may be a misquote)

"Deviating stitching" is an available Exclusive cost option.

At what cost??

I assume this is part of the 'exclusive' options and hence not on the configurator??

Not bought from them, but used for service.

Talk to Paul Page at Tonbridge OPC - very helpful!

I bought my current 997 C4S from him, and currently have "letters of intent" for a 991 Turbo (for me) and Cajun (for Mrs Sidicks) with him / Tonbridge OPC!

My car is currently with them for a new clutch, and has been with them for all servicing and warranty work since purchase in 2006!

Where do you want it?

Deviating stitching can be individually applied (and coloured if "rainbow" is so required!) to at least seven different surfaces:

Steering Wheel
Dashboard
Door Cards
Door Handle
Centre Console (side)
Rear Side Cards
Seat Stitching

Do you have the pricing for each of the above items??

I guess the handbrake stitching won't be relevant for the 991!!!

Thanks for the reply's , Tonbridge was the one I called and as I said, felt good about the sales person I spoke to. The Paul you mentioned I presume.

Regarding deviated stitching. I am thinking about it. I hope the 991 will offer a complete deviated stitching interior option at a more reasonable price. All these separate option codes make it complicated and pricey.

For now I will take red seat belts (XSX), red deviated stitching on steering wheel (CLU) and red sport chrono stop clock (CGG). And not to forget the red backrests (XWJ) ! :thumb:

Definitively no red dials as that is too much for my taste.
